Podiatrist Serving North Bethesda & Kensington, MD

For the Pike District and the neighborhoods around it, Dr. Gary Feldman, DPM, FACFAS is just a few minutes down Rockville Pike at the Bethesda office.

North Bethesda is Montgomery County’s most transit-woven corner. Pike & Rose and the wider Pike District have grown up around the North Bethesda and Grosvenor-Strathmore stations on the Red Line, and a lot of the people who live here commute — into DC, up to Rockville, or on foot between the Metro, the office, and the evening errand. Feet that spend that much of the day on pavement and platforms have their own pattern of wear.

Just east, around Connecticut Avenue, older-town Kensington adds a different rhythm — Antique Row, the MARC Brunswick Line stop, and walkable blocks where residents cover real distances on foot each day. Between the two, the complaints Dr. Feldman sees most are the standing-and-walking injuries: heel pain that greets the morning commute, an arch that gives out by evening, an ankle turned stepping off a curb in a hurry.
